Welcome to Amy and Mike's wedding website. In just a few months, the lovely couple will be tying the knot! The ceremony and reception will take place at the Eglinton Grand in Toronto on Sunday July 19, 2009.

They met while Amy was still in school and working as a barista at Starbucks. Mike, who worked in the area, came in every morning for a sugar-free vanilla non-fat latte. The two started chatting and then one day Mike slid his card across the counter and said, 'call me sometime'.

The pair went out on a few dates, but Mike had already bought a plane ticket to travel overseas and he was leaving in a few short months. Amy knew she would be graduating soon and taking a job at any newspaper that would have her, so they decided to part and leave their futures—together or apart—up to fate.

When Mike returned a year-and-a-half later, they found each other again and have been together ever since. In Hebrew there's a word: bashert, which means soul mate or fated, and both Mike and Amy believe they are each other's bashert.
